This is week is the first week of Summer Learning Journey. Today me, Ellenora and Paul are working together. We made a slides and it tells you what food we could take without any access to a refrigerator and freezer.
My name is Mani and I am going to be joining you on the Summer Learning Journey as a blog commenter. I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020. Have you done this programme before?
This year I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs, especially because I have been to your school and met you and the rest of your class! I am really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time with my family and hanging out with my friends. I also love to exercise and write songs in my spare time. What are you looking forward to doing this summer?
Firstly I think it is amazing that you have completed this activity in a group. I like how you have really thought about what food items you would take and I also appreciate how you have added some great reasons why you would pick these items, well done! I am super impressed with your use of pictures and even more impressed with how you have added attributions, you are amazing!
I look forward to reading more of your blog posts Eyaka, enjoy the last week of school and keep up the mahi! :)
I am Samuel, a Year 7 student attending Sacred Heart College. I am part of a trial period in which they are trying out students to be bloggers, which means it is my first experience with this sort of position.
I find it lovely that you completed this activity as a group. you had some very well thought out points and took this from both a practical and scientific/nutritious point of view. To compliment that, you three took a creative leap in your blog by creating a slideshow that I really enjoyed watching. Well done you three.
Hi Eyaka, I liked how you said that you'd bring dry food like nuts, beef jerky and biscuits because they'd last a lot longer than things like yoghurt and milk. If you could pick even more items, what else would you bring?
Kia ora Eyaka,
